Have you checked the label for each trigger under its other names, such as meals, fats, digests and hydrolysed forms?

Is the treat free of every ingredient on your dog's trigger list?

Has the brand told you whether the treat is made alongside your dog's trigger ingredients?

Diet and fit

If your dog is on a prescription diet, has your vet said which treats may be given with it?

If your dog is on an elimination diet, does this treat fit the protocol your vet set?

Is the treat's size and texture suited to your dog's size, age and dental needs?
